Why Did JESUS COME (Part Two – Defining The FATHER’s Will)

The Will of HIM WHO sent METhis is the will of HIM who sent ME
That of all that HE has given ME, I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day.
John 6:39

In John 6:39, our Beloved JESUS tells us three things about our Loving FATHER’s will for HIM:
1) That all has been given to HIM, including the souls of men who come to JESUS. Those men would not have come to HIM unless ABBA FATHER drew them (Jhn 6:44, Jhn 6:65) with HIS love (Jer 31:3, 1 Jhn 4:19, 1 Jhn 4:9-10).

Doesn’t this confirm predestination (GOD predestines certain souls to salvation and others to damnation)? No. It is not ABBA FATHER’s desire for anyone to perish (Eze 18:23, 1 Tim 2:3-4, 2 Pet 3:9). HE calls all to salvation, but only a few will accept HIS invitation (Mat 22:1-14). HE has foreknowledge (knowledge or awareness of something before its existence or occurrence), and HE knows the hearts and choices of men, before they are even made (Psa 139:1-4, Jhn 2:24-25, Act 1:24, Act 15:8, Heb 4:13). Just as JESUS knew from the beginning, of the 12 disciples HE chose, which ones would believe in HIM and the one who would not (Jhn 6:64, Jhn 6:70-71, Jhn 13:11).

2) I lose nothing, which literally means “not to destroy, devote or give over to eternal misery” JESUS confirms HE will forever save the man who comes to HIM. HE will indeed give him eternal life.

Doesn’t this confirm “once saved always saved” (when a person becomes a Christian they can never lose their salvation)? No. It is the will of GOD that every soul who believes should continue in the faith, and have a resurrection unto life eternal. But our loving GOD will not force a person to continue to trust in HIM or keep HIS gift of salvation. We choose to accept HIS gift of salvation, we must choose to continue in that salvation to the very end of our life or the end of time (Mat 24:13, Mrk 13:13, Heb 10:36-39). Judas Iscariot just like the other disciples was chosen after all night prayer (Luk 6:12-16). HE was given to JESUS by ABBA FATHER (Jhn 17:12). We have demonstrated from Scripture that it is not ABBA’s will for men to perish. Yet Judas will perish (experience the second death), because of his choices that ultimately led him to betray (Jhn 12:1-6, Luk 22:1-6, Mat 26:47-49) and reject or turn aside from following JESUS (Act 1:16-25). When we choose to cling or hold fast to our Beloved JESUS CHRIST no matter what (Jos 22:5, Psa 63:8, 1 Ths 5:21, Heb 10:35-39), HE will hold fast to us (2 Chr 15:1-2, Psa 125:1-2, Jam 4:8). HE will hold us firmly in HIS hand (Jhn 10:28). And from time to time during our stay here on earth, when we will stumble or sin (Ecc 7:20), HE has already made a provision (1 Jhn 1:9) where HE cleanses and lifts us up (Psa 145:14, Pro 24:16, Mic 7:8). HE holds us with HIS strong right hand, sustaining or supporting us (Psa 37:24, Psa 55:22). HE is mindful of our weaknesses, and gives us HIS Holy SPIRIT to strengthen us (2 Cor 12:7-10, Eph 3:16, Php 4:13).

3) But raise it up on the last day; JESUS HIMSELF (Jhn 6:40) will resurrect HIS sleeping saints and translate HIS living saints at the beginning of the very last day of this present time (1 Cor 15:42-55, 1 Ths 4:14-17, Jhn 11:23-27).

When is the last day? It is also known as the day of The LORD (Isa 3:6-13, Mal 4:5, 1 Ths 5:2-10, 2 Ths 2:1-9, 2 Pet 3:10), the day in which JESUS CHRIST will:
Return (Rev 1:7, Rev 19:11-21, Mat 24:29-31, Mrk 13:14-28, Luk 21:19-28, 2 Ths 2:8).
Destroy the antichrist and his false prophet (Rev 19:19-20, Dan 7:23-26, 2 Ths 2:8).
Resurrect both the righteous and the wicked (Act 24:15)
Judge all men (2 Cor 5:10, Rom 2:16, Act 10:42, Act 17:31, Rom 14:10-12, Rev 22:12).
o The righteous themselves will not be judged, as they are no longer condemned (Rom 8:1) having passed from eternal death into eternal life (Jhn 5:24). But at the judgment seat of CHRIST the quality of their service will be examined, resulting in rewards (1 Cor 3:8-15, Mat 25:31-40, Luk 14:14, Eph 6:7-8, Col 3:24, Heb 6:10, Rev 11:18), also known as crowns ― crown of life (Jam 1:12, Rev 2:10); crown of glory (1 Pet 5:4); the crown of exultation/rejoicing/giving praise (1 Ths 2:19); crown of righteousness (2 Tim 4:8)
o The wicked themselves will be judged; their choices and conduct during their lives (Rev 20:11-15, Col 3:25, Rom 2:4-8, Mat 25:41-46, Mat 16:27).
Destroy the current heavens and earth (2 Pet 3:1-15, Rev 20:11)
o Is GOD going to literally destroy the heavens and earth? Yes, they will literally be destroyed. 2 Peter 3:10 tells us “but the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up” When we examine this Scripture in the original language we find the English phrase concerning the heavens “will pass away” is transliterated from the Greek word “pareleúsontai” (NT: 3928) and it means to perish or be destroyed. And the English word “elements” is transliterated from the Greek word “stoicheía” (NT: 4747) and is defined as the substances of the material world (wind, air, water, fire or all the things that make up the natural environment). Finally, the English word “earth” is transliterated from the Greek word “geé” (NT: 1093) and means the earth as a whole. Several places throughout The BIBLE discuss the literal destruction of the heavens and earth (Isa 13:12-13, Isa 24:1-6, Isa 24:18-19, Isa 51:6, Zep 1:2-3, Zep 3:8, 2 Pet 3:12, Rev 6:12-17, Rev 21:1).
o What heavens will be destroyed? The first and second heavens will be destroyed. The first heaven is earth’s atmosphere where the birds fly. The second heaven is outer space, where the sun, moon, stars other galaxies and planets reside (Isa 51:6).
o Why will the heavens and earth be destroyed? To remove both ungodly spirits, ungodly men and all effects of sin from the places they have inhabited (Isa 13:6-11, Isa 24:21-22, Mat 8:29, Mat 13:40-42, Eph 6:12).
Create new heavens and earth (Isa 65:17, Isa 66:22, Rev 21:1)

What is meant by the “beginning” of the very last day of this present time? One day is as a thousand years for our Beloved LORD GOD (Psa 90:4, 2 Pet 3:8). At the beginning of the last day, Satan will be bound until the end of that day (Rev 20:1-3). Then the saints will be (resurrected) awakened (Rev 20:4-5), their service will be judged, and rewards given (Dan 12:2, Jhn 5:29) including reigning with CHRIST on that very last day (Rev 20:4-6). At the end of that day, Satan will be released from his prison (Rev 20:7), defeated for the final time and cast into the lake of fire (Rev 20:8-10). Then the wicked will be awakened to a resurrection of disgrace, everlasting contempt, judgment and punishment (Dan 12:2, Mat 25:46, Jhn 5:29, Rev 20:11-15).

As for me, I know that my REDEEMER lives
And at the last HE will take HIS stand on the earth
Even after my skin is destroyed
Yet from my flesh I shall see GOD
WHOM I myself shall behold
And WHOM my eyes will see and not another
My heart faints within me!
Job 19:25-27
