GOD makes a home for the lonely;
HE leads out the prisoners into prosperity,
Only the rebellious dwell in a parched land.

Every time I see a commercial or a Facebook post with people surrounded by loved ones, my heart grieves for those who are alone. Every time I see a commercial or a Facebook post with tables of delicious foods, my heart grieves for those who are hungry with little to no means to satisfy that hunger.

But every single time I take my grieving heart into the presence of my Beloved ABBA FATHER on behalf of those who have been or merely feel left out, HE reminds me of HIS goodness and HIS WORDS:

Father to the fatherless, defender of widows—
This is GOD, whose dwelling is holy.
GOD places the lonely in families;
HE sets the prisoners free and gives them joy.
But HE makes the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.
Psalm 68:5-6

Our Beloved LORD GOD, is compassionate, merciful, abounding in lovingkindness (Exd 34:6). HE gives hope to those without hope (Jer 29:11), HE is near to the brokenhearted, and HE saves those who are downtrodden or crushed in spirit (Psa 34:18).

If you are among those who are hurting and feel alone, look to GOD in prayer:
    ♥  it is from HE that your help will come (Psa 121:2)
    ♥  give all you your burdens to HIM; HE will take care of you (Psa 55:22)
    ♥  give all your anxieties and worries to HIM; because HE cares for you (1 Pet  5:7)

HE understands what you are going through, our Beloved LORD JESUS CHRIST experienced this HIMSELF:

HE was despised and forsaken of men,
A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief;
And like one from whom men hide their face
HE was despised, and we did not esteem HIM.
Isaiah 53:3

If you are among those who are called by HIS NAME, love others not just in your words but with your behavior (1 Jhn 3:17-18). Reach out to those who are forgotten, who feel left out. Share with others (1 Tim 6:18). And do not publically let everyone know what good you have done; shaming those who have received the benefit of your generosity. Instead privately take care of those who cannot take care of themselves, and our Beloved ABBA FATHER will see and reward you (Pro 19:17, Mat 6:1-4).

Turn to me and have mercy,
For I am alone and in deep distress.
My problems go from bad to worse.
Oh, save me from them all!
Feel my pain and see my trouble.
Forgive all my sins.
